at the top of the pic is the princess building, which contained indoor fairground, indoor roller rink, cheriton amusements, dart boards, snooker hall, ballroom dancing, princess cafe, bowls, and on the ground floor level was store rooms, boiler house, shops, and the campers restaurant, on the right of the pic is the gaiety building, the gap with the sun shining on is the side entrance to the gaiety theatre, this building also contained, gaiety ballroom, the boulevard, pig and whistle, an many shops, there was also another cheriton amusement arcade at the top of the boulevard, also in this building was the reception which would be very busy on a saturday, on the left of where the person is stood at the bottom left of picture was yellow camp, i had many a brilliant time in BUTLINS over the years, i worked in here for many years, on all the different departments, i was gutted when butlins closed in 86, it was the end of an era, and the end of BARRY ISLAND as i knew it,
